We are building a community farm to grow bananas as means of providing livelihood and cashflow to struggling families and bring the Christian churches together into an economic ark.
We are raising $11,000 to plant 3,500 banana plants in 1-hectare of farmland that will yield 3.8 tons of bananas. This translates into a cost of $3 per banana plant from planting to harvesting, with an expected gross yield of $8 per plant.
At the cost of a cup of coffee, you can help a family become economically sustainable for years.
